Sabor is ready to celebrate “Stranger Things”, one of the Netflix Original TV Series that most of all has influenced pop culture in recent years and takes us back to the 80s. Stranger Things has been a resounding success since its first release in 2016, winning several major awards over the course of 4 seasons. The series has become so popular that it has influenced the world of fashion and beyond, sanctioning the return of 80s fashion, of the Arcade games with Pac Man and Space Invaders as absolute protagonists and also of the role-playing games with Dungeons & Dragons. Almost unconsciously, the characters of the series with their habits and their looks have become icons of style, causing a real nostalgia effect in fashion, which was able to immediately intercept this trend. The “Stranger Things-mania” has not left the brands indifferent and they have created capsule collections inspired by the series: among these we find Throwback, Lacoste with sweatshirts, t-shirts, sneakers and bags with the iconic crocodile transformed into a “Demogorgon” and also the luxury brand Balmain, with a large collection of clothing and accessories. The first Italian pop-up store was inaugurated in Milan on May 5th to revive the places of Hawkins and the sets that were the backdrop to the main adventures of the cult series.
