The great master Tim Burton is the only director who, with his ability to combine horror with gothic and grotesque, has created some of the most famous films of all time which have become true cults. His first great success was certainly the irreverent ghost “Beetlejuic”, the 1988 noir comedy that combines humor with a taste for the macabre.
Beetlejuice will return to scare and entertain at the cinema in 2024 with the sequel Beetlejuice 2, in a story in which the protagonists of the first film will meet again after 30 years. New entry in the cast is the young Jenna Ortega, who we have already seen playing the role of another iconic character, Wednesday from “The Addams Family”, the protagonist of the award-winning Netflix TV series.
The return of this cult movie confirms that the horror genre never ceases to capture the taste of spectators. Even fashion is clearly influenced by the dark world: total black, black leather and feathers show how this style has established itself as a true trend even on the catwalks. Saint Laurent and Givenchy created clothes inspired by Wednesday, as did Versace who even created total black wedding dresses or Dior and Gucci with their gothic dresses that mix shaped bustiers and tulle skirts.
Sabor is betting a lot on this title which will certainly be a great success.
